Create, Amplify, Mobilize.
A Strategy Intensive for Nonprofit Communications Teams
A workshop powered by Dillon St. Bernard & Team DSB
New York City
November 12-13
A two-day intensive for nonprofit communications leaders who are ready to do the work differently. Up to 15 participants. One room. Everything you need to walk back into your org and move.
The Pitch
We’re teaching the tactics that will supercharge your nonprofit’s communications.
If you run communications at a mission-driven organization, you’re fighting for the attention of your audience and the comms playbook that you used two years ago won’t get you to next year.
You’re being asked to reach audiences with the same tools and the same instincts that stopped working a long time ago.
Create, Amplify, Mobilize is two days inside the room with the team that’s been figuring this out for 90+ nonprofits since 2021. This will be hands-on training, real frameworks, and the specific tactics you can deploy the day you get back to your desk.
What You'll Leave With
A clear, prioritized list of tactics to employ this quarter
A working understanding of platform-specific best practices that are actually working right now
The rapid-response posture and workflow your team can run with the following week
A network of nearly a dozen other comms people doing the same work, in the same moment
The First Things We'll Tackle
1. Platform-specific tactics
We’ll discuss what's working on each platform right now, the best use of your limited capacity, and what to stop doing. We'll audit your current approach and build a realistic plan for where your team should actually be showing up.
2. Content distribution
We’ll share how to think about content distribution and build partnerships that drive real reach. We'll map cultural moments and audiences you're not reaching yet, and show you how creator and content partnerships can accelerate your work.
3. Workflow & Measurement
We’ll focus on building a workflow that lets your team move at the speed of news without burning out. Which metrics actually tell you the work is landing, and which ones are just noise.
The Schedule
Day One: Foundations
- Morning: framing the moment, audience analysis, and the new comms posture.
- Afternoon: platform tactics and content frameworks, hands-on working session.
Day Two: Application
- Morning: content distribution, partnerships, and rapid response.
- Afternoon: workflow, measurement, and a closing working session where you leave with your own quarterly action plan.
Who It's For
We built Create, Amplify, Mobilize for the people actually doing the work inside nonprofit comms teams:
Solo comms managers at small orgs who are doing everything themselves and need to level up fast
Mid-level content and digital staff at orgs who want to bring new tactics back to their team
Director-level communications staff who want to send their team for hands-on training that actually translates to the work
Anyone running comms at a national advocacy org, c3, c4, philanthropy, or movement org who knows the playbook needs to change.
Pricing
Early bird: $3,000
Apply by June 12, 2026
Materials, working sessions, and lunches are included both days.
Seats are non-refundable but fully transferable to another member of your team.
Apply
Because we keep the room to twelve, we ask everyone interested to apply rather than register. The application is short: your role, your org, what you’re trying to figure out, and what you’d want to walk away with. Dillon and our team personally review every application.
